I got a demo of T-Mobile’s new TV service called TVision, which is now available in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington DC. It’s like cable TV with better software but you still need your high speed internet connection. It costs $90 a month $10 box fee up to 20% taxes for a whole lotta channels, including locals. At launch, on screen apps are very limited. Just YouTube, Pandora and a few others. Netflix and Amazon video are promised by the end of the year.
